Cargo is a startup that wants to turn Uber drivers' vehicles into little mobile shops. After drivers sign up for free, Cargo sends them a custom display that rests on the center console and holds a selection of snacks and essentials. On the top of the display case is a URL and identification number that is different for each car. Passengers go to the URL, enter the vehicle code and browse the menu and checkout using a credit card.

Cook County's beverage tax could land the state in hot water with the feds, resulting in roughly $87 million in federal food stamp money being withheld if the problem isn't fixed. While the county has informed retailers that purchases made with federal food stamp benefits are exempt from the soda tax under federal law, it's also allowed retailers to tax those purchases and provide refunds.

Monumental Sports and Entertainment has signed a deal that gives Capital One naming rights to the arena in which they all play, also owned by MSE. The venue in downtown Washington, D.C., known as the Verizon Center since 2006, will "effective immediately" become the Capital One Arena, with full signage and re-branding and marketing support scheduled for the fall.

A partnership of this size and scope is a little unusual, and it could have big payoffs for consumers including a wider array of electrified cars. The cars that Toyota and Mazda build at their hypothetical new plant may or may not be fully electric. However, there's a good chance that they'll be electrified to some degree - perhaps light hybrids, perhaps plug-ins with range-extending combustion engines.

Walmart is apologizing for a display inside one of its stores that appeared to market firearms as back-to-school items. The company said Wednesday it was working to identify which of its stores put up the exhibit. A photo of a sign reading "Own the school year like a hero" was placed directly above a glass case filled with guns. Photos of it spread like wildfire on social media.
