• Rhode Island Among Safest States For Thanksgiving Travel
    Around 48.7 million Americans will travel this Thanksgiving, and 89% of those travelers will drive to their destination. An analysis of fatal crash data over three years from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reveals Thanksgiving travel is risky-but not as risky as you might think. The safest states for Thanksgiving travel are Rhode Island, Vermont, Alaska, Hawaii and New Hampshire.

    Insurance firm The Hartford, which has been an official partner with the USOC and Paralympics since 2003, is launching a multi-media campaign to support the '18 Paralympics in March in South Korea. It focuses on members of Team Hartford, who are all vying for spots in the Paralympic Games and all examples of people who have the "will to prevail," overcoming odds and facing challenges to reach their goals.

    Whole Foods Market is making another round of price cuts - just in time for Thanksgiving. The natural foods grocer and Amazon once again lowered prices at Whole Foods stores, but this time they are targeting the chain's best-selling grocery items and holiday staples, including organic and no-antibiotic turkeys. Amazon is also rewarding Prime customers with additional discounts on these holiday birds, according to the companies.
  • YouTube Partners With Ticketmaster
    YouTube has partnered with Ticketmaster, making it possible for artists to include upcoming concert tour dates within their music videos. In addition to concert dates, a link will be available so anyone watching a music video can click through to the artist's Ticketmaster concert page to purchase tickets. YouTube says it is launching this new feature only for shows in North America, but has plans to expand it globally.

  • Foot Locker Cause Effort Has NBA Stars Seeing Double
    For its sixth annual "Week of Greatness," Foot Locker will continue to push shoes and apparel, but has added an altruistic component featuring NBA stars Carmelo Anthony, Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, James Harden, Kristaps Porzingas and Damian Lilliard. The retailer is working with brands including Nike, Jordan, adidas, Puma, Converse and Reebok as well as the New York Knicks and Soles For Souls.
  • Tesla CEO Elon Musk Makes Cover Of Rolling Stone
    Tesla CEO Elon Musk is on the cover of "Rolling Stone" magazine, which calls him the "architect of tomorrow." At one point, Musk interrupted the wide-ranging interview to point out that Tesla has the highest short position in the entire stock market at $9 billion, and he lamented the pressure from the short sellers. Musk said that he has been in "severe emotional pain" for the last few weeks and it took "every ounce of will" to do the Model 3 event.
  • Kellogg Opens Cafe In Manhattan's Union Square
    Kellogg's NYC Cafe will open the doors of an immersive cereal cafe and experience on Dec. 7 in the Union Square neighborhood of Manhattan. The company promises it will be more than just a place to eat. "It'll be a destination for foodies and people to chill, create and explore the endless possibilities of cereal all in one place, whether it be for breakfast, lunch or a snack later in the day," Kellogg stated.
  • Crazy Fast 840-Horsepower Dodge Demon Arrives at Showrooms
    Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has begun shipping the first 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demons to dealers. The limited-production, 6.2-liter Hemi V-8 engine delivers 840 horsepower. Dodge is touting the mega-muscle car as the industry's first street-legal production drag car. The National Hot Rod Association has certified it as the world's fastest quarter-mile production vehicle. But it has drawn its critics, who say the car is dangerous.
