Pantene Malaysia has released a campaign featuring award-winning Malaysian singer and songwriter Yuna, the first time the shampoo brand has used a celebrity ambassador wearing a hijab in the country, according to WPP agency Grey. The two-and-a-half-minute video is now running on YouTube, having premiered across cinemas in Malaysia.

A Cincinnati Dunkin' Donuts fired an employee who wrote a disparaging message on a homeless woman's cup, according to the store's owner. In a Facebook post that has since been deleted and shared through screenshots, a cup from the breakfast chain reads, “Stop ‘Hangin’ out in-front [sic] of the store. If you have a Full Time job! -management”. Originally posted by a customer on Instagram, former City Council candidate Brian Garry shared the screenshot on Facebook.

Called “Pier 1 2021: A New Day,” the plan features initiatives and organizational changes intended to drive growth, including targeting niche groups of consumers, sharper pricing and creating a more compelling shopping experience through enhanced merchandising and messaging. It also involves new marketing strategies to support the new brand positioning: “Pier 1: This is me.”

Guinness owner Diageo will open its first U.S. brewery on Aug. 3, in Baltimore. Guinness last made its iconic dark stout on U.S. soil in the 1950s. Now it’s hoping that its new American brewery and visitor experience will prove as popular as its flagship brewery in Dublin. Located on a 62-acre former Seagram’s bottling plant, it will employ about 200 people and be open for tours, taproom tastings and dining.
