• Walmart Adds To Retail Media Network
    Walmart has added several partners to its Walmart Connect retail media network, in addition to a previously announced integration with ecommerce platform CommerceIQ. The new partners include ad optimization platform Intentwise, e-commerce ad platform Perpetua, ecommerce cross-channel ad platform Quartile and ecommerce ad optimization platform Sellozo.

    Tesla owners and would-be buyers are becoming increasingly impatient with founder Elon Musk’s erratic behavior. One owner, who has bought multiple Tesla vehicles, says he still loves the vehicles but has soured on Musk. “Over time, his public statements have really come to bother me,” the owner told Bloomberg, citing the CEO’s spats with U.S. President Joe Biden, among others. “He acts like a seven-year-old.”
  • New Technology Might Halt Drunk Driving
    Last year’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act includes a provision to require alcohol-detection technology on all new passenger vehicles by 2024. “One of the most promising of the available interventions uses an infrared light, installed on a steering wheel or push-button ignition, to detect alcohol in the bloodstream through a driver’s fingertips, per Curbed. “If the blood-alcohol concentration is over .08 percent, the car won’t start.” However three Republican senators are planning to introduce legislation to repeal it.
