The Yumbo Hot Ham & Cheese Sandwich came off the Burger King menu 40 years ago, before most of its core audience was born. But the chain is reviving the sandwich beginning Dec. 2, saying in a release that it expects the item "will bring back memories for loyal guests." As before, the sandwich combines slices of Black Forest ham and melted American cheese, but lettuce and mayo and a hoagie bun have been added.

Consumers think traditional beer brands are appropriate for sports events or refreshment, but less recognizable alternatives are better for special occasions, per a study from the University of Copenhagen and New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research. In the study, novel beers, or craft beers, were considered "self- indulgent" and appropriate for special events and dining. The study polled 266 consumers from Aukland, so the results should be taken with a bit of kiwi salt.

Wal-Mart Stores said it has dismissed several executives in China as part of an effort to lower its operational costs there as it deals with competition and slower sales. Spokesperson Brooke Buchanan said several executives were let go to help "create a more efficient structure that positions our business competitively for the future." Reportedly around 30 senior Wal-Mart China and Sam's Club China brass had been dismissed.

Thanks to early deals, online shopping and a mixed economy, the Thanksgiving weekend wasn't the mad rush it usually is, the National Retail Federation said Sunday. Overall, 133.7 million people shopped in stores and online over the four-day weekend, down 5.2% from last year, according to a survey of 4,631 people conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics for the trade group for the NRF. Total spending for the weekend is expected to fall 11% to $50.9 billion.

Chinese owners of Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Volvo, Land Rover, Cadillac and Infiniti are highly educated and wealthy. And they're young - about 33 on average - according to a survey released by a the Hurun Research Institute. Seventy-six percent are male, and one in 10 spent at least three years overseas. Mercedes-Benz owners had the highest income and Infiniti owners the lowest. BMW had the highest percentage of female owners, while Cadillac had the highest percentage of males.

Reebok has acquired LUTA, a U.K.-based boxing and mixed-martial arts brand. The athletic gear company has also formed a "long-term alliance" with Fight for Peace, a non-profit organization that combines boxing and martial arts with education and personal development for young people in communities affected by crime and violence. Both LUTA and Fight for Peace were founded by Luke Dowdney, a former amateur boxer and British Universities champion turned businessman.

After months of waiting, American Alfa Romeo fans can finally head to dealers for the maker's little 4C sports car, the first model the Italian maker has sold in the U.S. in more than two decades. But it will soon make room for a sedan, according to several reports out of Europe. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles CEO Sergio Marchionne indicated Alfa Romeo will be getting as many as eight new products.
