An objection by Warner Bros. for unauthorized music use has prompted the removal of a political video shared by President Donald Trump. “The use of Warner Bros.’ score from ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in the campaign video was unauthorized,” the studio said in a statement provided to TheWrap. “We are working through the appropriate legal channels to have it removed.” A message on Twitter said the video was “disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.”

>Social media continues to bring out the worst in people, as Gillette came to the defense of a plus-size model after featuring her in a Twitter post that resulted in a lot of negativity. The Proctor & Gamble company tweeted a photo of lifestyle blogger Anna O’Brien getting splashed by waves on the beach. The post was from the account of the Boston-based company’s “Venus” line of razors, a brand geared toward women. The post prompted “a stream of derogatory reactions and people who harassed and body-shamed the model,” according to the Boston Globe.

Logos are often the first exposure consumers get to a brand. They’ve been around since the 19th century. Some company logos have interesting features or colorful histories. The FedEx logo features an arrow that is hidden in plain sight, meant to symbolize the delivery company’s speed and accuracy. Audi's logo has been four interlocking circles since 1932, after the company that was founded in 1909 absorbed three other automakers -- Horch, DKW, and Wanderer.

Lush plans to shut down several of its social media accounts targeted to users in the United Kingdom. The company released a statement on Twitter that the algorithms employed by tech companies such as Facebook and Twitter make it more difficult for the brand to effectively reach its audience without paying to appear in news feeds. "So we’ve decided it’s time to bid farewell to some of our social channels and open up the conversation between you and us instead," the statement continued.

Friendly’s is closing more restaurants, according to a letter sent to franchisees and obtained by The Boston Globe. ““After a months-long evaluation and careful consideration, we have decided to close 23 corporate-owned restaurants, effective immediately,’’ CEO George Michel said in the letter. “While this was a tough decision, we are confident it will best position the brand for a bright future.’’

Another multi-platinum recording artist could be joining one of the biggest footwear brands in the world. Rumors are floating around that rapper J. Cole could be the newest member of the Puma family. Spurring the chatter is a photo posted by current Puma endorser Usain Bolt on social media accompanied by the caption "Puma Family,” according to Complex. Cole can be seen on stage next to the track and field legend along with fellow endorsers like Cara Delevigne and Adriana Lima.

Reilly Brennan, a general partner at Trucks Venture Capital and a lecturer in transportation at Stanford University, is conservative regarding a timeline for autonomous vehicles. “Fully unstructured driving by go-anywhere cars is a long time away,” Brennan tells The New York Times. “Few start-ups actually understood the commitment required to create a complete vehicle.” Autonomy will first come to specialized applications like agriculture, mining and fleets dedicated to city delivery routes, he says.

Signet Jewelers, which operates 3,300 stores -- primarily Kay Jewelers, Zales, Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry, and Piercing Pagoda -- announced plans to close another 150 stores this fiscal year. Last fiscal year, the company closed 232 stores in North America. The closings are part of the company’s “Path to Brilliance transformation journey,” according to USA Today. There also will be limited new openings "primarily consisting of repositions to off-mall locations."
