  • Ryanair Retracts Trans-Atlantic Plans
    Just days after Europe's largest low-cost carrier said it would go trans-Atlantic as early as 2019, and offer super-cheap flights across the pond, the Irish budget airline's board said it had not approved plans to offer ultra-cheap flights between Europe and the United States. "The board of Ryanair Holdings P.L.C. wishes to clarify that it has not considered or approved any trans-Atlantic project and does not intend to do so," read a statement from the company.
  • Target Extends Return Policy To One Year
    Target Corp. is extending its return policy on select items to one year, effective immediately. The new policy applies to all of Target's 32 private-label brands. "It's a bit reminiscent of Costco's liberal return policy," said Edgar Dworsky, founder of Consumerworld.org, which tracks retailers' return policies. "It certainly is an unusual move." Dworsky doesn't expect many consumers will take advantage of the longer return policy, but knowing it is in place will create goodwill.

    In his first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers and his first season as a teammate with LeBron James, Kevin Love has another first: A national multi-media campaign, Built With Chocolate Milk, from the National Fluid Milk Processor Promotion Board. The theme, "Reboundability," plays off the fact that Love has averaged more than 730 rebounds a year over the course of his NBA career. The effort breaks this week under the umbrella "Built With Chocolate Milk" via TV, print , Internet and social media.

The service, which would be available on all devices powered by Apple's iOS system, would start with about 25 channels.

Samsung Canada becomes presenting partner of "Inside the NHL Situation Room" and the "Stanley Cup Playoffs Bracket Challenge."
