ALEC GERSTER, CEO of Grey Global Group's MediaCom, has been named CEO of Interpublic Group of Cos.' Initiative Media Worldwide. He replaces LOU SCHULTZ, who retired in January. Gerster spent most of his career at Grey, joining in 1972.

CYNTHIA JANSEN has joined Visuality Media Productions in Madison, WI as Director of Development and Marketing. Previously, she was the General Sales Manager for both Channel3000.com and TheMilwaukeeChannel.com.

CRAIG DENTON has joined WEBS Corporation, a retail automotive management software developer in Westlake Village, CA as Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining WEBS, Denton served as Director of Client Services for Dynamics Direct, a rich media email marketing company.

GABE JOHNSON was recently named Client Services Manager at Memetic Systems. He recently left Avenue A where he worked with select clients like Nike, Buy.com, and Park Place Entertainment.

BOB PITTMAN is back in charge of AOL Time Warner's Internet business and BARRY SCHULER has been reassigned to a new division. Pittman, who now serves as Chief Operating Officer-elect, will take over at the helm of America Online in a role he held until the company's merger last year with Time Warner. Schuler, who has served as Chairman and Chief Executive of AOL since the merger, will now lead the new Home Networking Solutions and Digital Home Services division.

The Network Radio Research Council (NRRC) re-elected DR. TOM EVANS, Senior Vice President, ABC Radio Networks, as Chair for another one-year term. In addition, LEN KLATT, Vice President and Director of Research of Premiere Radio Networks, was re-elected Vice Chair.

CAROLINE CHILVERS, formerly an Interactive Account Director has been promoted to the new position of Group Account Director at RappDigital, New York.

JACK SANSOLO has joined Avenue A’s board of directors. From 1996 to 2001, Sansolo served as executive vice president of global brand direction for Eddie Bauer, Inc.

ASHLI SHERMAN has joined The Xchange Group as an account supervisor. Prior to joining Xchange, Sherman was with Wunderman Worldwide, an integrated marketing solutions company in New York City.

ROBYN WALTON has joined Commerce Syndication Network Inc. as Director of Sales and Marketing. Previously, she served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for WebsiteASP, Inc.
