Deutsch New York hired Juan Carlos Pagan as design director, beginning March 3. He will report to Kerry Keenan, chief creative officer. Pagan joins the agency from DDB New York, where he has worked since 2011 on clients such as Tropicana, New York Lottery, Water is Life, and Reebok. He has also worked at MTV, G2 Worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather and DraftFCB. Pagan became well known within the design community for his design of the Pinterest logo and currently serves on the Young Guns committee.
