Lory previously spent three years at Euro RSCG New York working as an account planner on the Intel, Evian, and Charles Schwab accounts. Earlier, she was a planner at Ogilvy & Mather, where she worked on the AT&T Wireless account.
Kelliher Samets Volk has acquired Platinum Design, a strategic design firm in Manhattan. Platinum employee ESTEE POULERIS will serve as managing director and partner of Platinum Design under the new ownership.

LIZ JANNEMAN has been named senior vice president, cable ad sales for The Weather Channel. Janneman will oversee all advertising sales efforts for the cable network. Janneman spent 12 years with Turner/AOL/Time Warner, where she rose from account executive to executive vice president of sales.
JERILYN SCHULTZ BLISS, a former publicist for Oprah Winfrey and Winfrey's Harpo Productions, has joined Scripps Networks as vice president of corporate communications. Bliss will oversee business-to-business and industry communications and have an involvement in the strategy and implementation of national public affairs for Scripps Networks.
