• Luquire George Andrews As Media Director
    Charlotte, NC-based Luquire George Andrews has appointed Lisa Purpura vice president, media director to oversee the agency's media planning and buying efforts. Purpura joins LGA from VML, where she served as managing director leading the paid media practice across all North American offices for the Kansas City agency, which recently merged with WPP's Y&R. Earlier in her career, she worked at Havas Media Group, Cramer-Krasselt, DDB and Quantum Leap.    
  • Broadhead Adds Ex-Martin Williams Leader
    Broadhead is appointing Jeff Tresidder as senior vice president, executive creative director to lead the Minneapolis-based agency's 25-person creative team and serve on its leadership board. Most recently he served as group creative director at Martin Williams Advertising and earlier in his career worked at Colle McVoy and Carmichael. 
  • FCB Chicago Promotes Two
    FCB Chicago is recognizing the talents of two executives by elevating them to newly created roles that expand their current responsibilities. Fernando Espejel is upped to executive vice president/digital platforms to oversee all of the agency’s digital offerings, including its social and influencer practices. He will report directly to President and CEO Michael Fassnacht.  Jenn Chiang is promoted to EVP/ group strategic planning director to lead FCB Chicago’s customer engagement discipline reporting to chief strategy officer John Kenny. 
  • Publicis Conseil Appoints New Creative Leader
    Publicis Groupe is promoting Marco Venturelli as co-president overseeing creativity at Publicis Conseil. He will help lead the agency alongside Agathe Bousquet, president, Publicis Conseil and Publicis Groupe France and Anne de Maupeou, chief creative officer, Publicis Groupe France. Venturelli's elevation is designed to help strengthen the France-based agency's creative output. He has received more than 100 awards, including 30 Cannes Lions.  Most recently the 41-year-old Venturelli served as executive creative director at Publicis Milan, a role he held from 2015. While at Publicis Milan, he was the global creative lead for client Heineken.
  • Marcus Thomas Names First CCO
    Marcus Thomas is promoting Jaime Venorsky from executive creative director to the agency's first chief creative officer. Also the agency is elevating creative directors, Jim Sollisch and Stephanie Burris, to co-executive creative directors. In their roles, Sollisch and Burris will work with Venorsky to oversee the development of the agency’s creative, studio production and design groups.
  • Fuseideas Adds New Executive Creative Director
    Justin Cyganiewicz is departing the client side to join Fuseideas as executive creative director. In this new position, Cyganiewicz will be responsible for the creative work across all disciplines for all of the agency’s clients. Cyganiewicz spent three years with Fidelity Investments most recently as group creative director. He also spent eight years with Boston-based Digitas LBi as well as stints with MMB, Boston Web Design and RDW Group.
  • MuteSix Bolsters Management Team With Four New Vice Presidents
    Los Angeles-based digital and creative agency MuteSix has added four vice presidents to its management team. Marc Loreti and Holly Martin have joined the team as VPs of business development, while Bree Blackman has been named VP/creative strategy and Ross Buchoic is appointed VP/paid search.
  • Swift Promotes Strategist, Hires Production Veteran
    Portland-based creative agency Swift has promoted Meredith Chase to chief strategy officer and hired Marni Beardsley as chief production officer.  Chase joined Swift in 2015 as vice president of strategic planning. Previously, Chase was founder and principal of the marketing firm Guidance Counsel, which partnered with Under Armour to help reposition its women’s business and developed the strategy that drove the company’s award-winning “I Will What I Want” campaign.  Beardsley joins the agency after a 25-year run at Wieden+Kennedy, where she most recently was director of integrated art/content production, supporting the agency's network.  
  • Melamed Awarded VP Stripes At Digital Operative
    San Diego-based marketing agency Digital Operative promotes Ryan Melamed from director, digital strategy to vice president strategy & growth. In his new role, he will continue to lead the agency’s strategy practice while working with the accounts division, digital marketing, and the agency's Amazon practice. He will report to BJ Cook, CEO and co-founder.  
  • MARC USA Appoints Chief Creative Officer
    MARC USA is promoting Joe Burke to executive vice president/chief creative officer to oversee creative across the agency's three offices in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Boston.. MARC hasn't had a CCO position for a number of years, but is reinstating it with Burke's promotion. Burke, who joined MARC USA in 2011 and was previously executive creative director in the Chicago office and earlier held creative roles at DDB, Element 79, FCB and JWT.
