STEVE BOWMAN has been appointed to the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Conceptus, Inc. Bowman was most recently Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Northridge, Calif.-based MiniMed, Inc. from 1999 to 2001.

PETER GOLDMAN, former MessageMedia executive, has been appointed vice president, sales and marketing at Dynamics Direct, Inc.

JON DOBBIN has joined MediaCom as Vice President, Group Account Director. He comes to MediaCom from Mediaedge:CIA.

LARRY POSNER has been named Chief Marketing Officer at HIP Health Plan. He was previously the managing partner at Managed Impact, a sales and marketing management consulting firm.

WILLIAM PULVER, President and Chief Operating Officer at NetRatings Inc., has been named its new chief executive. Pulver also assumes a seat on the board.

BARI GOLDSMITH has joined Deutsch as Associate Director in Deutsch's media group. Goldsmith was most recently with Atmosphere Interactive, where she was the Associate Media Director on Visa, USA.

WILLIAM SECREST has been hired as director of strategy development for the western United States at Alcott Routon. He previously was senior vice president of client services for Quaero, a Denver, Colo.-based provider of customer relationship management services.

TOBY GABRINER, formerly COO Freestyle Interactive, has been promoted to President.

ANDREW MOSKOWITZ, formally of Cybereps, has been named Vice President of Sales at ClickZen.com Inc.

RICHARD KOSINSKI, a veteran in ad sales from The Wall Street Journal, recently joined CNET Networks' as a vice president.
