Posterscope Worldwide opened offices in Las Vegas and Miami. Jaime Konzelman was named managing director for the Las Vegas office and Beatriz Planas will serve as managing director of the Miami office.

Datran Media hired Dennis Syracuse as senior vice president of marketing analytics. Prior to joining Datran, Syracuse served as senior vice president for Sony Electronics where he led retail operations and merchandising across 65 SonyStyle store properties.

Current Media hired Ken Ripley as executive vice president of advertising sales. Most recently, Ripley was executive vice president of global advertising sales for IGA Worldwide.

Draftfcb New York hired Chaz Mee as creative director. He was most recently at Strawberry Frog, where he created the Scion Speak Web site.

Draftfcb Seattle promoted Nick Chapman to vice president, creative director and Jamie Krummel to senior vice president, account director.

MTV Networks Latin America opened an office in Bogota, Colombia, to be led by country manager, Christian Prada.

C. Thomas Gruhler was promoted to president of McCann Erickson New York, up from executive vice president, worldwide account director, succeeding Lori Senecal.

LevLane promoted Caroline Pennartz from account coordinator to account manager.

Meredith Corporation promoted Andy Sareyan to chief brand officer of the National Media Group. In this expanded role, Sareyan will remain president of Better Homes and Gardens and an executive vice president of the group.

Christian Arens joined Catalyst:SF as a partner and will head up all client services.
