Landor elevated Christopher Lehmann to managing director of the San Francisco office. He will report to Stuart Sproule, president of Landor North America. Lehmann replaces Suzie Ivelich, who moves from her role as managing director of Landor San Francisco to executive director of strategy for the North American region. Lehmann returns to San Francisco after serving since 2011 as executive creative director and general manager of Landor's Chicago office, which doubled in size during his tenure. The Barbarian Group hired Jill Applebaum as creative director for Pepsi, as well as new business. She joins the agency from J. Walter Thompson, where she served as group creative director, overseeing the creative development for JWT NY, Tylenol and Nestle Toll House brands. Prior to that, Applebaum was senior vice president, group creative director at DraftFCB New York, overseeing creative for Kraft's Oreo brand. Applebaum also created work for Burt's Bees and Barclays Bank.

U.S. International Media hired Elizabeth Kelly as associate media director in the Los Angeles office. Most recently, she was vice president of media at Media Design Group. Kelly began her career at Foote, Cone & Belding in 1981. Since then, she has worked for many agencies on brands including Verizon, Porsche, Apple, Albertsons, ARCO, Farmers Insurance, Mazda, Anna's Linens, Toshiba, Uggs, Frontier Communications, Friendly's, Bacardi and City National Bank. MKTG promoted Ben Roth from executive vice president, creative to chief creative officer. A new position, Roth is charged with shaping and growing the agency's creative department along with attracting new clients and creatives within the agency. Roth joined MKTG in 2012, following a 20-year career that began at IBM as a designer. Over that time, he has worked in graphic design, art and creative direction in the fields of branding, sports marketing, advertising, consumer and B2B event marketing.
