  • CAROL A. SMITH was named senior vice president of Elle Group. She had most recently been consulting on Hachette's elle.com and other Internet and publishing projects.
  • NINA LAWRENCE was named vice president and publisher of the national magazines within Conde Nast Publication's Bridal Division. Lawrence was publisher of Bride's and had served as publisher of Modern Bride from 1996 to 1998.
  • AMY KATHRYN KEACH, previously associate project manager in the Practice Operations department of Modem Media, has been promoted to Project Manager.
  • KENNETH A. BRONFIN, previously deputy group head of the Hearst Interactive Media group, has been named president of the Hearst Interactive Media division of The Hearst Corporation.
