Freedman will be based in New York, with responsibility for accounts in New York, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Georgia and Florida. He joins Forbes.com from Advertising.com, where he was an Account Executive. Howard will be based in San Francisco, with accounts in the Bay Area and the Mountain states. He was most recently Western Sales and Development Manager at the G+J Business Innovator Group.

    RICHARD (DICK) G. PORTER, a veteran magazine publisher who has worked for TV Guide, Reader’s Digest and Prevention Magazine, has joined American Profile Magazine and Publishing Group of America. Porter, who most recently served as Executive Vice President of Interactive Marketing Sales for AOL Time Warner, will serve as President of American Profile and Senior Vice President of Publishing for PGA.

    RICK BOYKO, Chief Creative Officer of WPP Group's Ogilvy & Mather North America and Co-President of Ogilvy, New York, will retire from the agency next year to become the Managing Director of the Adcenter at Virginia Commonwealth University. Boyko has been the Chief Creative for Ogilvy North America for 14 years. Bill Gray, Co-president of Ogilvy, New York, will assume sole management.

A native of Venezuela, Potasinski has 22 years of marketing, advertising and media experience in the Hispanic market. He broke into the Hispanic marketing and advertising field in New York with Conill Advertising in 1980. Over the years he has also been associated with Sosa & Associates in San Antonio and Bermudez & Associates in Los Angeles.
