Prior to joining the company, Brilliant was corporate vice president of sales, marketing and product development at Arch Wireless and vice president of sales at BizRate.com.

PIC-TV has promoted MARC R. GOODMAN to senior vice president, east coast sales director. Goodman will manage the sales operation for PIC-TV/New York. Prior to joining PIC-TV in 2002, he served for 11 years as senior vice president, advertising sales at Pearson Syndicated Television. Goodman also served as director of New York sales at CNBC, where he initiated the pre-launch team for the network and created and supervised the start-up sales team.

ROY E. DISNEY, vice chairman and nephew of Walt Disney Co. founder Walt Disney, has stepped down from the company's board following an ongoing series of disputes with chairman-CEO MICHAEL EISNER.

DONNA SPECIALE, formerly executive vice president and director of national and local broadcast for Mediacom/Grey Global, will join MediaVest as president, US broadcast, succeeding MEL BERNING. Berning has accepted a sales position with A&E Network. Speciale has over 20 years of broadcast experience, most with Mediacom, which she joined in 1989 after a 5-year stint with a media company in Rhode Island. Speciale has managed investments for marketers such as Warner Brothers, GlaxoSmithKline, Hasbro, Kmart, Diageo, Staples and Subway.

Gemstone Communications has promoted PETER GARCIA to sales service manager for its Senior Publishers Media Group (SPMG) and Ethnic Print Media Group (EPMG) advertising sales divisions. Garcia joined the company two years ago as traffic coordinator and eight months ago was promoted to traffic manager.
