    Endeca has named its founder, STEVE PAPA, as chief executive officer and DAN DEMMER as president and chief operating officer. Papa will continue to serve as a member of the board of directors. STEVEN WALSKE, who has served on Endeca’s board of directors since 2000, will now serve as the chairman of the board of directors.

    RICHARD (RICK) STENGEL has been named managing editor of Time, succeeding JIM KELLY who was promoted to managing editor of Time Inc.

    The Fifth Network, an online video advertising company, has hired MARK OLDHAM, formerly of NBC Universal national broadcast and cable sales, as its sales director.
  • MATTHEW SIMPSON
    Southwest Media Group has named MATTHEW SIMPSON as chief marketing officer to oversee all aspects of the agency's marketing efforts and growth. Simpson most recently served as Dallas marketing manager for Metro Networks, working with such clients as Pizza Hut, Southwest Airlines and Pier 1.

    MYLA SORENSEN has been named creative director at Time Inc.’sHealthmagazine. Sorensen joins Health from Lands’ End, where she most recently served as creative director for its women’s division.
  • HENRIETTA SABEL
    HENRIETTA SABEL has joined Mintz & Hoke as manager of client billing. She has held various positions at Keiler & Company for more than 16 years.
  • JANET EDEN-HARRIS
    JANET EDEN-HARRIS has been appointed chief executive officer of Umbria. Eden-Harris will oversee the strategic direction of the company. She joins the company from Information Resources, where she served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
  • JIM KELLY
    JIM KELLY has been promoted to the newly created position of managing editor of Time Inc., Kelly was most recently managing editor of Time, a position he held for nearly six years. He has spent a total of 28 years at the magazine starting as a writer in the Nation section.
  • JOHN BECK
    JOHN BECK has joined Experclick as vice president of sales. He joins the company from Intermix Network/Fox Interactive Media, where he held the position of vice president of sales development.
  • BARRY KESSEL
    Wunderman’s BARRY KESSEL has been named CEO of RTC Relationship Marketing and JEFFREY ROSS was promoted to president. Kessel has been serving as senior strategist at RTCRM since 2005 and Ross most recently served as executive vice president.
