    JANICE KAPLAN has been named executive editor of PARADE magazine. Kaplan has served as a consultant to PARADE since January. Before joining the company, she was deputy editor of TV Guide magazine and executive producer of the TV Guide Television Group.

    RON FURMAN has been named senior vice president of media/advertising sales for NFL Network. Furman will lead the advertising sales for NFL Network and its VOD, HD and wireless extensions, the NFL Internet Network and NFL Films. Furman joins the NFL Network from MTV where he was senior vice president of sales.
  • MICHAEL GRECO
    MICHAEL GRECO, senior vice president, research and planning for MTV, will take on the added responsibility of overseeing the qualitative programming and branding side of the network's research and planning department. Greco will be charged with the primary research insights for MTV, MTV2, mtvU, MTV.com, and MTV Overdrive. He joined MTV Networks in 2000 to manage ratings responsibilities for MTV. Prior to that, he worked at BBDO/OMD and GM Mediaworks.
