MICHAEL BREITNER has been promoted to western sales director, a new position within the corporate sales & marketing group at American Express Publishing Corporation. JENNIFER SOMMER will replace Breitner as Los Angeles sales director at American Express Publishing's Food & Wine.

Chandelier named SUSAN TOWERS as managing director of the creative firm. Towers was most recently vice president of global communications for Kiehl’s Since 1851, where she oversaw the company’s U.S. and international communications strategy, worked on launches of new products and developed partnerships.

Cannella Response Television promoted GUY THEUNE to executive vice president. He will retain his chief financial officer and chief operating officer titles. PEGGY GOBEL was promoted to vice president, director of cable media, up from director of national cable.
