Universal McCann hired ADRIAN TOY as regional interactive director for Asia Pacific in an effort to increase its digital-media capabilities. Toy will work on digital communications for technology clients such as Intel and Microsoft. Toy will be based in Hong Kong and previously served as regional head of interactive marketing for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care in Asia Pacific.

JIRI MUSELIK joined [x+1] as vice president, engineering. He joins the company from Consumer Reports where he served as director of web applications since 2004.

LION New Media named JOSH JACOBSEN as account manager. Most recently, Jacobsen worked for Stevenson Advertising as an assistant account executive.

Meredith Corporation named WENDI SANDERS BERGER as publisher of Fitness magazine. She replaces LAUREN BUERGER, who left the company. Berger most recently served as publisher of Child magazine.

Energy BBDO hired GREG BRAUN as senior vice president, group creative director and JASON STANFIELD as creative director. Braun joins from Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles where he was a creative director and Stanfield comes from DDB Seattle where he was associate creative director.
