TBWA/Chiat/Day Los Angeles promoted Rob Schwartz to chief creative officer. The agency also hired Al Kelly, who will assume the role of co-executive creative director along with Patrick O'Neill. Kelly joins the agency from Fallon, Minneapolis where he served as executive creative director. The agency also added several new creatives to its digital team including: Jason Nichols, who joins as creative director; Mike Kohlbecker, who joins as associate creative director; Alexandra Sann, who joins as associate creative director; and Dustin Artz, who joins as art director.

Profero appointed Sveta Srinivasan as head of US planning and strategy. Srinivasan joins Profero from Anomaly where she was planning director.

Euro RSCG Worldwide hired CC Tang as Co-chairman and chief creative officer, Euro RSCG North Asia; Sharon Chen as chief strategy officer, Euro RSCG Greater China; and Jordan Hsueh as chief creative officer, Euro RSCG North China.

CheckM8 hired Dan Scherer as senior vice president, sales and marketing. Scherer joins the company from Tremor Media, where he served as vice president of publisher relations.

Alan Citron has been named president of Buzz Media. Citron served as a senior advisor to Buzz Media (formerly Buzznet) since August 2008. Prior to that, he was the founding general manager of TMZ.

Everol Smith joined Partners + Napier as the account director for Kodak, with a focus on the Graphics Communication Group. He was previously a senior advertising manager at Xerox.

HZDG named Amy Sherman as head of interactive marketing to run the interactive marketing department. Most recently, Sherman spent six years at Warner Bros. Pictures where she served as director, interactive marketing overseeing interactive media.

[x+1] named Toby Korner as vice president of account management. Korner joins the company from MMA, where he served as senior director of account management.

PointRoll named Catherine Spurway as vice president, strategy & marketing; Chris Baughman as AVP, creative strategy; and Elaine Ybarra as marketing manager.
