• REVOLVING DOOR: Sebastian Gunnewig Joins AKQA SF
    AKQA named Sebastian Gunnewig as director of brand strategy and planning in the agency’s San Francisco office. In his new role, Gunnewig will manage the strategy department and oversee strategic direction across the office’s portfolio of clients. Most recently, Gunnewig served as director of brand planning at TBWA\Media Arts Lab in Los Angeles, where he worked on Apple. Prior to that, he worked for 180 in Amsterdam and Los Angeles on clients including adidas and Sony. AKQA’s current clients include Audi, Google+, Target, Jordan and Anheuser-Busch.
  • REVOLVING DOOR: Wunderman Expands Dennis Kooker's Agency Role
    Wunderman announced that Dennis Kooker will take on the additional duties of chief operating officer for the Wunderman Data & Insights division. He currently serves as KBM Group’s chief operating officer and president of customer services. In his expanded role, Kooker will coordinate with Wunderman’s global teams responsible for new business strategy, account development, and existing database and marketing technology functions. For more than11 years, Kooker served as COO of KBM Group, managing day-to-day operations across North America, including all account services, sales and the delivery of client solutions encompassing AmeriLINK, data production, IT, marketing operations and development.
  • REVOLVING DOOR: Grey San Francisco Hires Milan Martin as President
    Milan Martin has joined Grey San Francisco as president of the 50-person staff. Most recently, Martin was managing director and chief strategist at Anthem Worldwide, San Francisco. Prior to that, he spent three years at Gyro serving first as executive vice president, director of client service and business development in San Francisco, moving up to president, Gyro New York. Martin’s early agency days were spent at Ogilvy & Mather in New York and London leading the management of brands including IBM, Gillette, AT&T, Anheuser-Busch and Virgin.
  • REVOLVING DOOR: Carmichael Lynch Hires New Biz Director
    Carmichael Lynch named Dorion Taylor as director of new business. He joins the agency from Target Corporation, where he served as marketing operations manager. At Carmichael Lynch, Taylor will lead efforts to further expand the agency’s client roster, which includes Subaru of America, Jack Link’s and most recently, Tempur-Pedic. In addition, he will also manage publicity, media relations and digital marketing. Taylor began his advertising career in Minneapolis at Campbell Mithun and Martin Williams, where he managed brands like Burger King, General Mills, Birds Eye, Andersen Windows and  GlaxoSmithKline.

    Brainshark hired Diane Gordon as senior vice president of customer care and Chet Barnard as senior vice president of business development. In addition, David Klein was promoted to vice president of product management and Marc McNamara to vice president of sales enablement.
