• National Cable Communications has made several appointments in its Dallas sales office. MARTY TOOLE has been promoted to Sales Manager of the National Team, while PAT BAUGHMAN and CHAD HOKER have joined NCC as Account Executives. Toole joined NCC in January 2001 as an Account Executive following close to 20 years in radio rep management. Baughman comes to NCC from Lifetime Television, where she was based in Dallas as Vice President, Central Region Distribution & Field Marketing. Hoker joins NCC from the Allied Division of Interep Radio in Dallas, where he was an Account Executive.
  • MATT FREEMAN, Chief Executive Officer/North America, Tribal DDB Worldwide, has been named Chairman of the 2002 Internet Advertising Jury of The Clio Awards.
  • Bigfoot Interactive announced two management additions to its executive team. PAUL BECK was named vice president of sales and JOHN MATHEW was appointed to the newly created position of vice president of operations. Before joining Bigfoot Interactive, Beck was vice president of interactive strategic solutions (ISS) at DIMAC Marketing Partners, a full-service direct marketing company. Mathew brings more than 10 years of experience in building email marketing operations and technology infrastructure to support client implementation on both domestic and international levels.
  • DraftWorldwide New York promoted SHELLEY EUDENE LANMAN to senior executive vice president, chief creative officer, and LIZ DEUTCH to senior executive vice president, director of account services. Both are new positions in the agency. EMILY SOELL, previously vice chairman, chief creative officer for DraftWorldwide New York, will take on a consulting role. Lanman was previously EVP, executive creative director, while Deutch was previously EVP, group account director.
  • JOHN CARROLL has taken the position of President and CEO for Upside Magazine. Carroll brings over 20 years of experience in publishing, most recently as Group Publisher-Electronic OEM Group for Pennwell Publishing Company.
  • Media 100 Inc., a developer of advanced media systems, has added two seasoned high technology professionals. Effective immediately, JEFF TURNER has been named Vice President of Worldwide Sales, and SUSAN ROBERTS has been appointed Vice President of Corporate Marketing. Turner joins the company after a stint with Giganet, Inc., where he was Vice President of Channel Sales in charge of the combined Giganet/Emulex product lines. Roberts had been Vice President of Marketing for eDial, Inc.
  • JOCELYN CARTER-MILLER has been named Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer at Office Depot. Carter-Miller had been Corporate Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of Motorola, Inc.
  • ROBERT LUTSKY has joined Interevco Network as SVP Sales. Lutsky was Eastern Director at Poindexter Systems. ARI BLECH has also joined Interevco as VP Sales. Blech was Eastern Sales Manager at Engage.
  • MITCH BURG, formerly President and Managing Director of The Media Edge, has resigned after 24 years of service to join BroadStreet Entertainment as EVP, Chief Marketing Officer.
  • GARY BROOKS has been named executive vice president of sales and marketing at KnowledgeStorm. He joins the company from Ariba, where he directed global corporate marketing.
