Previously an advertising sales manager, Miller will now handle all ad sales for AARP Modern Maturity, AARP Bulletin, and My Generation. Miller came to AARP from Sesame Street Parents Magazine, where she was national sales manager.

    AMC Networks, which includes AMC and Women's Entertainment, announced today the appointment of ROBERT A. VOLTAGGIO to Vice President of Pricing and Planning. In this new role, Voltaggio will oversee the day-to-day operations of the advertising sales support areas for the networks, including sales planning, inventory control and traffic.

    Red Herring Communications, publisher of Red Herring magazine, today announced the appointment of ETIENNE KATZ to the position of Associate Publisher, East. In his new role, the 11-year media veteran will oversee the monthly magazine's advertising sales efforts for the eastern portion of the United States. Mr. Katz joins Red Herring after spending six years with Ziff Davis Smart Business/PC Computing.

    DIANTHA WILSON joins Kiplinger's Personal Finance as an account manager. She comes over from Platts Energy Information Services Group, a unit of McGraw-Hill, where she was a sales associate and conference director. She’ll handle the Northeast for the magazine.

    ERROL D. GRIFFITHS has been named director of ad sales for Disney Adventures and Disney Magazine, reporting to Kathy Gordon, publisher for both magazines at Disney Publishing. He joined Disney Adventures in 1997.

    TONY VINCIQUERRA, President of Fox Television Network, is taking the additional title CEO of the Fox Networks Group, overseeing the Fox Cable Networks Group and the broadcasting group that had been under his wing. He assumes the functions of Jeff Shell, who is now Co-President and COO of many-troubled Gemstar-TV Guide International.

    JASON MILLER has been promoted to Vice President, Advertising Sales, Eastern Region for Outdoor Life Network. Miller previously served as Director, Advertising Sales, Eastern Region, and has been integral in the design and implementation of strategic brand building programs with advertisers in support of such OLN programming as the Tour de France, Louis Vuitton Cup and FIS World Cup Skiing, among others.
  • JOHN BERG: Omnicom Group
    JOHN BERG, president of Omnicom Group's DDB Worldwide, New York, is leaving his position to become president of Havas' Euro RSCG MVBMS, New York. He will also serve on the executive team of Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners. He is not expected to start his new position until next month. Berg has worked at DDB since 2000. Prior to his stint at DDB, he served as group publisher at Wenner Media's Rolling Stone magazine for a year and, before that, was at Omnicom's BBDO Worldwide for 13 years.
