• KURT KARLENZIG & CHRIS MILLER: Chemistri
    Chemistri's Co-Chief Executive Officers KURT KARLENZIG and CHRIS MILLER are leaving the Leo Burnett interactive subsidiary. The duo joined Chemistri at its formation in Sept. 2000 from its predecessor, Capps Digital. The departures come as Leo Burnett parent Bcom3 considers consolidating its digital assets even further, according to sources.
  • MARK GLATZHOFER: Media Networks
    Time veteran MARK GLATZHOFER has moved to Media Networks, where he’ll be the new Vice President/General Manager. Glatzhofer had been at Time since 1988, working most recently with the Fortune Group (including Business 2.0 and FSB). Glatzhofer has also worked for Money and Life.
  • LAURA MANOS EMMS: CFM Direct
    LAURA MANOS EMMS was hired as Senior Account Director at CFM Direct, a growing national direct marketing agency. In her newly created position, Manos Emms is the agency's first employee to be based in Minneapolis, complementing full-service offices in Chicago and Philadelphia. Manos Emms will work closely with clients in the upper Midwest, supported by both the agency's other offices. She most recently served as Vice President of Sales at Helegeson Enterprises and is a member of the Midwest Direct Marketing Association.

    PETER KLUEGER has been appointed Vice President and Creative Director of AGENCY.COM, New York. He was formerly kpe's Creative Director, and brings more than 14 years of experience in branding, creative direction and visual communications creativity and brand-building expertise to the company. Before joining kpe, Klueger worked for Ogilvy & Mather Interactive in New York, serving as Associate Creative Director.

    Lifetime Manager of Programming, Scheduling and Acquisitions SCOTT LEWERS is now the Media Director of Programming, Scheduling and Planning at Oxygen. He’ll report to VP of programming Brigitte McCray.
  • STEPHEN P. HILLS: Washington Post
    STEPHEN P. HILLS, a former Washington Post intern, will become the paper’s Vice President and General Manager after serving as Vice President of Advertising, Circulation and Marketing. Hills joined the Post in 1987, right after serving his internship. He will oversee business operations directly under Publisher and Chief Executive Boisfeuillet Jones Jr., who held these positions until his promotion in 2000.
  • ROBERT SOLOMON: Rapp Collins Worldwide
    Rapp Collins Worldwide, New York, named ROBERT SOLOMON President-CEO of the Omnicom Group Agency. Solomon joins Rapp Collins from his own consulting firm, Solomon Strategic. He also had been conducting account management seminars for Omnicom.
