Captivate Network, Inc., the national news and entertainment network, announced that MICHAEL GANNON is joining the company as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Gannon joined Captivate from Wink Communications, where he served as Vice President, Sales. His 25 years of experience includes 14 years at ESPN, where he helped grow the network to over $500 million in sales. He also held Senior Sales positions at Pax TV and Speedvision, and started his career at ABC, CBS and NBC.

Jon Miller, the new CEO of AOL, is expected to disclose his plans for the reorganization of the troubled interactive unit. The overhaul is expected to disperse employees in AOL's business affairs unit throughout the company, leaving only a handful of personnel at its Dulles, Va., headquarters. The unit, comprised of more than 80 people, has been under scrutiny since The Washington Post reported last month of controversial ad and e-commerce deals. The unit traditionally played a role in various parts of big cross-media advertising deals.

BROOKE E. TWEDDELL was recently named Vice President/Group Director for Rutland MKB, a full service advertising, media and marketing communications company. She will oversee daily operations in the Memphis, TN office, including launching the company's national/regional Media Services Division. Tweddell comes to Rutland MKB following a 3 year post at Archer Malmo where she served as Vice President of the company's Retail/Restaurant Services Group.

KEVYN LEWIS has been named GlobalHue’s President and Chief Creative Officer. As Chief Creative Officer, Lewis is responsible for the development of all creative concepts, advertising and materials that are directed to the African-American, Hispanic, and the Asian-American and urban markets. Lewis came to GlobalHue, then Don Coleman and Associates, in 1990 after working with African-American advertising agencies in Chicago for more than a decade.

He will lead all of the agency's direct marketing accounts, including General Motors, Sprint, DeVry University, Monster.com, H&R Block, and healthcare accounts including Aventis. Gorski joins DraftWorldwide from e-Dialog, Boston, where he was Executive Vice President. Prior to e-Dialog, Gorski was Vice President-Director, Integrated Marketing at Digitas, Boston, where he was the Relationship Manager for the Xerox account.

National Cable Communications has promoted PERRY SHELMAN to Sales Manager of its CableLink Interconnects Division, while naming MICHAEL PRICE as National Interconnect Manager of CableLink's Albany, N.Y., market. Shelman will oversee sales efforts for all seven CableLink Interconnects markets: Albany, Cleveland, Buffalo, Grand Rapids, Hartford, Providence, and Wilkes-Barre.
