    ALAN COHEN has resigned his post as Twentieth Century Fox's President of Domestic Marketing. “During my brief tenure at Fox, I've determined that, given the department's structure, I could not make the kind of contribution I had envisioned when I joined the studio,” he said in a statement. Cohen joined Fox in January from ABC-TV, where he was Executive Vice President of Marketing, Advertising and Promotion.

    STEVEN M. BORNSTEIN, president of Walt Disney's ABC Television unit, has resigned unexpectedly after less than a year on the job on Tuesday. "There are other interests I wish to pursue and now is an appropriate time to do this," he said in a statement. Walt Disney Co., which owns ABC, said it will not replace Bornstein and may reorganize the business unit that also includes 10 broadcast stations and the cable networks ESPN and ABC Family.
