SABMiller recently announced a new president-CEO for its struggling North American Miller Brewing Co. following the resignation of Miller President John Bowlin. NORMAN ADAMI, currently Chairman-Managing Director of South African Breweries Ltd., will take over for Bowlin, who is resigning effective Feb. 1. Adami has been with SAB for 20 years, leading the South African brewing operations for nine years.

LIN TV Corp. this week named SCOTT BLUMENTHAL and EDWARD MUNSON Regional Vice Presidents of LIN Television Corporation. Also, JEFF WHITE was named Station Manager of WISH-TV in Indianapolis, IN and DAVID ROGERS Station Manager of WAVY-TV, in Norfolk, Virginia. Viacom Vice President and General Manager STEVE MAULDIN has moved to Dallas, where he has been named President and General Manager of Viacom's Dallas/Fort-Worth duopoly. Mauldin will also oversee Viacom's Austin, Texas, CBS station, KEYE, and its Oklahoma City UPN station, KAUT. In Miami, Mauldin was in charge of a Viacom "triopoly," having held the position of VP and GM of WFOR, UPN station WBFS and West Palm Beach UPN station WTVX.

CNN News Group Chairman WALTER ISAACSON has announced his resignation. He will be replaced by company President/COO Jim Walton. Isaacson is leaving in the spring to become President/CEO of The Aspen Institute, a think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C. Prior to CNN, Isaacson had held a number of high-level jobs at Time Inc., including Editorial Director, and had a successful stint as Managing Editor of Time magazine.

OMD USA has hired the former President-CEO of Raycom Sports to be Managing Director of the Omnicom Group media firm. RAY WARREN will oversee all of OMD's broadcast capabilities as well as its sports marketing and entertainment units. He replaces Dan Rank, who joined Universal Television Networks in November 2002. Warren joined Raycom Sports in 1988 as Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing after having been Vice President of ABC News Sales.

Nashville Magazine.com, a Fourb Networks Publication, has hired TINA TERREZZA, as their new Associate Publisher. Most recently she was the Real Estate Account Manager for Citysearch in Nashville. Prior to Citysearch, Terrezza was a Account Executive for Rent.net & Move.com before relocating to Nashville from Southern California.

Adlink, a digital cable interconnect, this week announced that MAUREEN WALSH has been hired as Director, Strategic Marketing. In this position she will oversee both the promotional and creative service departments. Walsh was most recently Vice President, Affiliate Relations at United Paramount Network (UPN) in Los Angeles. Prior to joining UPN, Walsh served as Director, Network Distribution with Fox Broadcasting Company.

BARBARA BANDA, CATHY LEIBOWITZ and MARY TRICOLI have been named Group Managers with Eagle Television Sales. Banda joined Eagle Television Sales in Cleveland in 1995 as an Account Executive. Leibowitz joined Eagle Television Sales as a Sales Manager in 2000. Tricoli, a 25-year industry veteran, joined Eagle Television Sales in Philadelphia in 1999 as Account Executive. In 2000, she was promoted to Account Manager, her most recent position.

Palisades Media Group (PMG) announced recently the appointment of JULIE GROPMAN as Senior Account Executive to their Santa Monica headquarters. Gropman will primarily be responsible for account management of the company's recently acquired Virgin Mobile USA account. Gropman comes to Palisades Media Group from The Gary Group where, for the past three years, she has served as an Account Executive and Media Planner on accounts such as Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group.
