Emmis Communications Corporation this week named radio industry veteran MATT ROSS as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Emmis-New York. Since early 2002, Ross has served as CEO of Turning-Point Inc., which specializes in media, marketing and event consulting services. Prior to that, he was General Manager of WAXQ-FM in New York City from 1998-2001. He added the additional role of Senior Vice President of Sales for Clear Channel New York in 2001.

Yahoo! this week announced two new additions to its sales leadership team: BETH-ANN EASON joins Yahoo! as Vice President of Category Management and Sales Training. Eason has held a variety of management positions, including VP/General Manager of DoubleClick Media, SVP Business Development at Ziff Davis Publishing and Associate Publisher of the SRDS Interactive Source Book.
