• QINGQING JENNY WANG: interTrend Communications
    interTrend Communications, Inc., a full-service advertising agency, has promoted QINGQING "JENNY" WANG to media planner/buyer from media assistant. Wang joined interTrend Communications in June 2002. She is responsible for planning and presenting media plans to clients; supervising new media staff members and overseeing media buying projects. In addition, the agency has added JAIDEEP "JAY" NAGARAJ and STARR YANG to its staff as an account manager and assistant account executive, respectively.
  • JOHN PERRISS: ZenithOptimedia Group
    ZenithOptimedia Group chief executive officer JOHN PERRISS will leave the company after a replacement has been installed and a transition process completed. Perriss entered the advertising industry in 1968 as a media assistant, and joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 1975. Following Publicis Groupe's acquisition of a 50% stake in Zenith Media in 2000, Zenith and Optimedia were brought together under single management led by Perriss in 2001 before being merged into a single media network in 2003.
  • ROBERT DAVIS: The Independent Film Channel
    The Independent Film Channel (IFC) announced that ROBERT DAVIS has joined the network as vice president-technology & production, IFC Digital Media and World Picks. He will oversee both long-term planning as well as day-to-day management of operations relative to cross-platform content production, transmission and distribution. Before joining IFC, Davis was a consultant for Gartner, Inc.
  • LAMAR GRAHAM: PARADE Publications
    LAMAR GRAHAM has been named general manager of PARADE Publications. Graham, who was formerly managing editor of PARADE, will collaborate on all aspects of the company. Graham joined PARADE in 2000 as contributing editor of technology and author of PARADE's "Inside.com" column. He was named managing editor in 2001.

    Forbes.com has named ANNE TOAL regional sales manager in the New York office, with responsibility for accounts in the New York City metropolitan area. Toal was most recently Internet account manager at the MIT Technology Review. Prior to that, she was regional sales manager at Business 2.0.
  • BARBARA ZACK: IAG
    IAG, the TV ad effectiveness ratings company, announced that BARBARA ZACK has joined the company as managing director, chief strategic officer. Zack will oversee the development of IAG's research and data products. Before joining IAG, Zack was executive vice president, director of communication insights for PHD USA. While there, she developed a proprietary suite of planning tools for PHD.
  • DOUGLAS WOOD: The Advertising Research Foundation
    The Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) has named DOUGLAS WOOD as its general counsel. Wood, partner-in-charge at Reed Smith Hall Dickler's Advertising & Marketing Law Group of top-20 international law firm Reed Smith LLP, has more than 25 years experience representing national and multinational companies in advertising and unfair competition, intellectual property, and Internet matters. Wood will be responsible for advising the ARF on new initiatives as well as overseeing all of the ARF's legal activities including policy development and contract review.
  • KAREN ANTUZZI: FCBi
    KAREN ANTUZZI has been named senior vice president, group media director of FCBi, the interactive arm of Foote Cone & Belding. She will be responsible for interactive, direct and integrated media on Kraft and HP accounts. Antuzzi joins FCBi from mOne (formerly Ogilvy One) where she spent her entire 19-year career.
  • ELIZABETH CROSS: Green Dot Advertising
    Green Dot Advertising, a full-service agency, has named ELIZABETH CROSS as executive vice president. She comes to Green Dot having held positions with The Beacon Council as vice president of marketing and MD International as director of marketing communications.
  • PETER PERVERE: Digital Impact
    Digital Impact, Inc., a provider of online direct marketing solutions for enterprises, announced the appointment of PETER PERVERE to the company’s board of directors. Pervere brings to Digital Impact nearly 25 years of management experience in the technology industry. In May 2002, he retired as the chief financial officer of Commerce One, Inc. a position he held since 1997. Prior to joining Commerce One, Pervere was vice president and corporate controller of Sybase, Inc.
