    Integrated marketing communications agency Matthews | Evans | Albertazzi (MEA) has promoted GENEVIEVE LIENKE to advertising account executive. Lienke will work on the Callaway Golf, Modern Postcard, WD-40 and MedImpact accounts. Prior to joining MEA, she was an assistant account executive for Karsh and Hagan, where she worked on brands such as Globus and Cosmos - Escorted Travel Tour Company and Steamboat Ski Resort.

    Temerlin McClain has hired DAVID RUSSELL as its director of new media. Prior to joining Temerlin McClain, Russell was the marketing director of Fitness Equipment Services, a direct marketer of high-end fitness equipment. Russell's previous experience also includes stints at Euro RSCG DSW Partners in Salt Lake City, where he worked on accounts such as Intel, Iomega, Commerce One and Minolta Printers; and Wieden & Kennedy Advertising in Portland, Oregon.
  • JOHN JARVIS: Colle+McVoy
    Colle+McVoy has promoted JOHN JARVIS to president. He will retain his title as chief creative officer. Colle+McVoy CEO CHUCK KUSHELL is leaving the agency to pursue other opportunities. Also, PHIL JOHNSON will retain his role as chief operating officer at Colle+McVoy with additional responsibilities in account service.
  • MARIA JAKUBEK: Meredith Corporation
    Additionally, Meredith Corporation has named MARIA JAKUBEK as sales development manager for Better Homes & Gardens' Special Interest Publications (SIPs). Jakubek will handle existing accounts including Hunter Douglas, Waverly, and WestPoint Stevens, as well as develop new categories of business that will leverage the SIPs’ home and family enthusiast readers. She was previously sales development manager of Meredith’s Country Home magazine.
  • NIELS SCHUURMANS: Spike TV
    NIELS SCHUURMANS has been named senior vice president/creative director for Spike TV. Schuurmans will oversee Spike TV's creative department, which is responsible for the network's entire on-air and off-air look and sound, as well as its print media creative. He will be responsible for managing all creative aspects relating to the visual presentation of the network.
  • DAVID GRZELAK: Ten United
    Advertising agency Ten United has hired DAVID GRZELAK as director of ethnography, leading the newly formed Behavioral Insights Group. The group will work with all clients to gain deeper understanding of their respective target markets. Grzelak was previously marketing research manager at Hallmark, and has consulted for clients including Daimler Chrysler, Whirlpool, and Seiko/Epson.
  • PEGGY NORTHROP: Meredith Corporation
    Meredith Corporation has named PEGGY NORTHROP editor-in-chief for More magazine. Northrop joins More from Organic Style magazine, where she had served as editor-in-chief since 2002. She replaces SUSAN CRANDELL, who resigned to pursue other opportunities.

    Carat Interactive, a division of Carat North America, has made TOBY GABRINER chief operating officer. In this role, Gabriner will oversee all agency services and U.S locations, and contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the agency. Gabriner had most recently served as executive vice president, managing director of Carat Interactive.
