Spin has appointed BRIAN GEORGI as its corporate accounts director. Georgi will be responsible for Spin’s automotive, spirits, telecom, and financial-services accounts.

Scripps Networks has promoted MIKE BOYD to senior vice president of marketing for Home & Garden Television. Boyd, who joined HGTV in 2000 as vice president of marketing, will continue to direct and implement consumer positioning, marketing, and public relations strategies for the HGTV brand. Also at Scripps, NICOLE DESONIER has been named sales manager for the western region, to oversee accounts within a twelve-state territory and direct the company's Los Angeles-based sales force.

DigitalGrit has named STACY SHERMAN as senior account manager. Most recently, Sherman led online and off-line marketing programs for Weichert Realtors.

SpecificMEDIA has named PERRY NUSBAUM to the position of sales director, eastern United States. Most recently, Nusbaum was a senior account executive for 24/7 Real Media where he developed and managed advertising programs for beverage, retail, technology, business, and pharmaceutical accounts.

Horizon Media has promoted CHRISTINA LINCOLN to senior buyer of national broadcast and MICHAEL ALLEN to associate buyer of national broadcast. Lincoln advances to senior buyer of national broadcast up from national broadcast buyer. Lincoln joined Horizon Media in April 2000 as an assistant buyer and earned a promotion to buyer in April 2002. Michael Allen, who joined Horizon in April 2002, advances to associate buyer of national broadcast up from national broadcast assistant buyer.

Velocity Sports & Entertainment has hired DAVID VINTURELLA as vice president and engagement manager of the Cingular Wireless account. In this capacity Vinturella will oversee all aspects of the Cingular Wireless account.

PETER CROFUT has joined DoubleClick as DART Motif sales account manager (West Coast). He joins DoubleClick from United Virtualities where he was director, West Coast sales. Prior to that, Crofut was director of agency relations for You Networks, a third-party rich media provider.

Zipatoni announced that MICHAEL OLIVER has joined the agency as account director for Energizer, Hallmark, and Borden. Oliver recently worked for Saatchi & Saatchi X as an account service manager.

Reuters.com has appointed DANIEL BERNARD as its first global head of advertising development. He joins Reuters.com from CBS MarketWatch where he served as director of advertising development.

JOE BILOTTA, chief operating officer for Buckley Broadcasting, has been named chairman of the RAB Board of Directors. Bilotta was voted into the two-year term that begins on January 1, 2005.
