  • RICHARD ALCOTT
    RICHARD ALCOTT has joined the Los Angeles office of Initiative as executive vice president, managing director. Alcott will lead the day-to-day operation of Initiative's West Coast business, with an emphasis on the group's strategic media planning offering. Most recently, Alcott served as executive vice president of marketing for AudioAudit, a company that provides Web-based platforms that automates the tracking process of advertising campaigns for ad agencies, media buyers, and broadcasters.

    MEG TIPTON joined Sigma Group as senior account director. She is responsible for project management and account service functions for one of the agency’s key clients: Panasonic Computer Solutions Company's brand of Toughbook notebook and handheld PCs. Tipton joins Sigma Group with a consumer marketing background from De'Longhi and Sharp Electronics Corporation.

    Starmark International has named SKIP POLLARD as vice president, director of media strategy.
  • DARRYL LARUE
    DARRYL LARUE has been appointed to the position of vice president, sales for Warner Bros. Online. LaRue will oversee Warner Bros. Online’s sales team in all aspects of external sales development, including digital brand licensing and standard media placements on the Warner Bros. Online network of Web sites. LaRue joins the company from NBC’s owned and operated TV stations division where he served as director of interactive sales.

    Kelliher Samets Volk (KSV) has promoted JONATHAN LEONG to director of brand planning. He joined the firm in 2004, and was a senior brand planner in the agency. Prior to joining KSV, he spent five years at Cliff Freeman and Partners New York, most recently as a senior analyst working on accounts such as Staples, Fox, and Budget Rent A Car.

    ATTIK announced that RIC PERALTA, a member of its board of directors, has been named as the firm's chief executive officer. A former management consultant at KPMG and The Bechtel Group, Peralta began working with Primo Angeli Inc. in 1994.

    The FORTUNE Group has added AARON GALLAGHER as sales director and JOE KUTCHERA as marketing manager to the FORTUNE Group Online sales team. Gallagher was most recently a lead account manager for BusinessWeek Onlinewhere he created and sold strategic online marketing programs to companies in various industriesamong several other projects. Kutchera joins FORTUNE.com from This Old House Online where he was the marketing and business development manager.

    SCOTT LAHDE has joined Deutsch as vice president, associate director of corporate communications. Lahde was most recently director of public relations with Merkley + Partners New York, and helped to grow the agency from a small boutique into a competitive mid-sized shop. Prior to that he was with Kirshenbaum Bond New York.
