BILL OWENS has been named senior broadcast producer for CBS Evening News With Bob Schieffer. He joins ROME HARTMAN, the newly announced executive producer of the broadcast. Owens joined 60 Minutes in 2003 as a producer for correspondent Scott Pelley.

Universal McCann New York has promoted DANI BENOWITZ to senior vice president, group supervisor, overseeing the television AOR for more than 75 Johnson & Johnson brands along with all general market and Hispanic television negotiations. Also, JOAN MIKARDOS has been promoted to senior vice president, managing director, managing Johnson & Johnson OTC businesses including Tylenol and Pepcid.

Network LIVE, a joint venture between America Online, XM Satellite Radio and AEG, has named ANDY BRILLIANT as executive vice president, international and JOHN GAYDON as managing director of Network LIVE in London. Brilliant's responsibilities include developing and managing global strategic relationships across multiple verticals such as wireless, TV, and broadband. Gaydon will be responsible for global content acquisition and production strategy.

MARK DILLON has been appointed vice president of sales for the central and western regions for WhenU. Dillon joins WhenU from Advertising.com, where he served as vice president of sales since 2002.

AMC has named GINA DEGNAN HUGHES to vice president of advertising and ALISON HOFFMAN to director of advertising. Hughes will be responsible for developing and producing strategic and effective advertising that delivers ratings for the network. Hoffman will supervise the strategic development and execution of AMC advertising and media buying, as well as direct creative development of all consumer-oriented messaging, both internally and externally for the network.

BILL POWER has joined BBDO New York as executive vice president and worldwide account director, responsible for leading the GE brand on a global basis, across four continents and more than a dozen offices. Power joins the agency from Interpublic Group, where he served as enterprise director on the Bank of America business.
