    SASA SAVIC joined Starcom MediaVest Group as executive vice president, global managing director, P&G. Savic will be responsible for leading the SMG/P&G global assignment which currently spans 50 markets worldwide. Most recently, he served as executive vice president, director of global accounts at Universal McCann, where he led their key global assignments.

    BILL HILARY has been named president of MAGNA Global Entertainment and will be based in MAGNA's New York headquarters. Hilary most recently served as president and CEO of BBC America, where he was responsible for the creative and financial management of the BBC's premiere international channel. In his new role, Hilary will lead MAGNA's entertainment division, creating custom branded programming opportunities for clients' specific marketing needs.

    JIM MCKAIRNES has been named executive vice president, scheduling at Discovery Networks U.S. McKairnes joins Discovery after a 13-year career with CBS, most recently as senior vice president of program planning and scheduling.
