MPG promoted STEVE LANZANO to chief operating officer. Lanzano will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of MPG’s marketing and service professionals in the United States. Lanzano most recently served as general manager of MPG NY, where he was responsible for client service and strategic development. Prior to that he was CEO of Mediaedge:cia, where he was responsible for overseeing the agency’s operations across all U.S. offices and Canada.
Ad Partners promoted CHRISTINA CLAYTON from media coordinator to media buyer. Clayton will specialize in a variety of assigned markets for which she’ll buy print and broadcast media for local and national accounts.

Time Inc. promoted SYLVIA AUTON and STEPHANIE GEORGE to executive vice presidents. In addition, NORA MCANIFF will step down as co-chief operating officer. Auton will continue her role as chief executive officer of IPC Media, and will also assume responsibility for Southern Progress Corporation and the business sides of All You and Life. George will continue her role as president, In Style, Real Simple and Essence, and will add responsibility for Corporate Sales and Marketing and the business sides of the People Group and Entertainment Weekly.

Stand Advertising named RENÉE KORUS as brand development director, a new position. She will act as chief brand steward, overseeing all account planning and research on all accounts and on new business. Previously, Korus was a freelance creative director at marketing agency Concept One.
