After serving as editor in chief of Ladies' Home Journal for more than 20 years, MYRNA BLYTH next week will be succeeded by veteran editor DIANE SALVATORE. Blyth will focus on her expanded role as editorial director of More, a lifestyle monthly for fortysomething women. Salvatore, most recently director of editorial operations at Hearst Magazines, has has held a string of jobs in women's titles, including executive director of Hearst's Marie Claire, executive editor of Good Housekeeping, and senior editor of Redbook. Veteran television advertising sales executives GREG KARLIK and MATT BOXER have been promoted to local sales managers of New York's Spanish-language TV station, Univision 41. Karlik, who had been an account executive at Univision 41, has sales and management experience that includes posts at KBWB-TV and KRON-TV in San Francisco, WNYT-TV in Albany, and at the rep firm Petry Television. Boxer, who had been national sales manager at Univision's Miami TV station (WLTV), began his career in advertising as an account executive at Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhardt in New York and as local/regional sales manager at WDZL-TV in Miami.

Slate.com, an online magazine owned by Microsoft Corp., has promoted associate publisher CYRUS KROHN to the position of publisher. Krohn, a former producer of CNN's "Crossfire" and "Larry King Live" television programs, will succeed SCOTT MOORE, who will become general manager of news and information for Microsoft's MSN Internet site. Before joining Slate, Krohn directed political advertising for the Microsoft Network.

EMILY DAVIS has been promoted to Vogue’s director of project development where she will oversee retail programs and the development and execution of special advertising sections. Davis has served as the magazine’s international fashion director since February of 1999. JEFFREY GREIF has been appointed Vogue’s international fashion director. Greif will oversee the magazine’s Italian and French offices. He joins Vogue from GQ, where he served as international advertising director.
