• Deutsch LA: STEFAN GERARD
    Deutsch LA has named STEFAN GERARD (left) as vice president, senior account planner. In addition, account planners CHRISTIAN COCKER (right) and MATTHEW JARVIS have both been promoted to vice president. Gerard will work on T.G.I. Friday's and Mitsubishi accounts. Cocker joined Deutsch in 2000 and was previously with Ogilvy & Mather in London. Jarvis joined Deutsch in 2001 and is currently the lead strategist on its Coors Light business.
  • JOHN FERNANDEZ: Finelight Strategic Marketing Communications
    JOHN FERNANDEZ has been named senior vice president of business development at Finelight Strategic Marketing Communications. In addition, ROSE DURBIN has joined the agency as media director. Durbin has an extensive background in media buying, serving such clients as Carpet One, Pearle Vision Center, and McDonald's.
  • SARA FRAZIER: Borders Perrin Norrander
    Full service advertising agency Borders Perrin Norrander of Portland, Oregon has named SARA FRAZIER media supervisor. Frazier will help manage the agency's business on Columbia Sportswear, Valvoline, and Eagle One accounts. Frazier comes to BPN from American Express Headquarters in New York, where she spent two years as manager of global media.
  • TESS MALLERY: North American Media Group
    North American Media Group has hired TESS MALLERY as account executive for The History Channel magazine and Today's Creative Home Arts magazine. Mallery will be responsible for managing advertising sales efforts in the mid-West territory for both titles. Prior to joining the North American Media Group, she was a media supervisor at Starcom Worldwide/Leo Burnett.
  • JAMES LALLY: Jungle Media Group
    Jungle Media Group has hired JAMES LALLY as vice president, custom sales. Lally recently held senior sales positions at both Marvel Entertainment and Time Out New York. He will head up the custom division within Jungle Media Group, which now publishes dozens of magazines and e-newsletters.
  • MICHELE NEVITT: Budget Living
    MARISA MIMOUN and MICHELE NEVITT have joined Budget Living as sales representatives. Mimoun comes to Budget Living from the Joseph Jacobs Organization where she served as a sales manager for a network of publications. She was previously a representative for Mode Magazine. Nevitt joins the magazine from L’Oreal where she was a marketing consultant for Redken.
  • SCOTT BISHOFF: Kovel/Fuller
    Kovel/Fuller has promoted SCOTT BISHOFF to media supervisor. Bishoff will help manage national media planning and buying responsibilities for Vivendi Universal Games.
  • DEANNA ZAMORA: Razor
    Razor magazine has opened a New York office and hired DEANNA ZAMORA, formerly of Gourmet magazine and Team One Advertising, and AMY LIEBERG, previously of Nylon Magazine and Grey Advertising/Medicom New York, as senior account managers.
  • SEAN MEEHAN: Bigfoot Interactive
    Bigfoot Interactive has named SEAN MEEHAN vice president of sales, responsible for the list acquisition services, sales, and prospecting departments. Meehan joins the company from Grey Direct where he was the vice president and general manager of email development.
  • ANDREW ELLENTHAL: PointRoll
    Rich media technology company PointRoll has hired ANDREW ELLENTHAL as its senior vice president for global sales. Prior to joining PointRoll, Ellenthal was vice president of business development for Marketing Management Analytics, an independent business unit of the Aegis Group, Plc. Prior to that, he spent four years at DoubleClick.
