    MARC USA has named MICHELE FABRIZI president and CEO of its nationwide advertising and integrated marketing communications group. Fabrizi joined MARC USA in 1982, was named president of the Pittsburgh office in 1998, and then CEO two years later.
  • PAUL IAFFALDANO: Weather Channel
    PAUL IAFFALDANO has been promoted to senior vice president of national sales and advertising product development at the Weather Channel. Most recently, Iaffaldano served as chief revenue officer of weather.com. He oversaw all revenue streams for the website, with particular emphasis on ad sales, content partnerships, and new technology applications.

    Coupons, Inc. has promoted chief operating officer JEFF WEITZMAN to president and COO. The company has also promoted JIM WIDMANN, regional vice president sales, to vice president of sales. Weitzman will be responsible for all technology, operations, marketing, and finance functions. Prior to joining Coupons, Inc., Weitzman was senior director, client services, at Yahoo! Inc. Widmann will oversee the growth and management of the company’s sales organization; he was a member of the original management team of Valassis Communications, Inc.

    Digital Brewing Company has named MELISSA TRIMBLE its director of business development. Trimble will be responsible for driving new business development, client relations, and alliance development for both offline and online advertising and marketing.
  • Ryan Partnership: SHIRLEY BERGIN
    Independent promotion marketing agency Ryan Partnership has named four of its senior executives to the title of partner. The new partners are SHIRLEY BERGIN, senior vice president, group director for Ryan Interactive in Wilton; MATTHEW JONAS, vice president and general manager of its Los Angeles office; ALICIA BENDER, vice president in Ryan’s Minneapolis office; and LESTER PRESTON, chief financial officer, also in Wilton.
  • TOM ALISON and ANGELA MCCLOSKEY: SendTec
    SendTec has named TOM ALISON as senior vice president of marketing, while ANGELA MCCLOSKEY and ARNIE SOCHER have each been appointed vice president of business development. Alison will work with SendTec's clients on the creation and implementation of innovative marketing and business development programs. McCloskey will be responsible for new business development with online advertising clients for SendTec's DirectNet Advertising division, and Socher will be responsible for new business development with offline advertising clients through SendTec's Creative South and iFactz divisions.

    Advertising.com has named ALEX BENGZON, AMI GOODHART, and LEIGH SAKODA as account executives in the company's New York sales office. Bengzon joins the company from Overture, where he was the direct sales channel account executive. Goodhart was previously group director for the performance direct team at Yahoo. Sakoda most recently served as a sales account executive at CNET. Additionally, SPENCER LEE has been named account executive in the company's Chicago sales office. Lee most recently served as an account director at the Excite Network.

    Tribune Media Services (TMS) announced that STEPHEN TIPPIE, formerly vice president, marketing, has been promoted to vice president, marketing and licensing. Tippie has been head of marketing and creative services for TMS since 1996. Before joining TMS in 1994, he was responsible for business development and marketing for a Washington, DC-based technology-consulting firm.
  • RIGGS ECKELBERRY: Crossbow Group
    Crossbow Group has named RIGGS ECKELBERRY managing director, west coast operations. Eckelberry will be responsible for business development and client support for high tech and financial services companies. Prior to joining Crossbow Group, he founded TechTransform, and prior to that served as managing director for NetCatalyst.
