    ELIZABETH RIFAS has been promoted to national fashion director of Maximmagazine. Rifas will oversee Maxim’s sales and marketing strategy on all national accounts in fashion, footwear, accessories, watches, and retail. Prior to joining Maxim in 2004, Rifas held the accessories/corporate director of sales position at sister publication, Stuff magazine.

    KEVIN APPNEL has joined Barry Group as new business coordinator. He will lead the firm’s new business efforts. Previously, Appnel was responsible for account relationship and operational management for Enterprise Rent a Car.

    JUDY BAHARY has joined the Strategic Research team of GM Planworks, the media division within Starcom MediaVest Group dedicated to media communications planning on behalf of General Motors, as director of quantitative research and accountability.
  • MICKEY S. GOLDBERG
    MICKEY S. GOLDBERG has been named in-house legal counsel for DL Ryan Companies, the holding company for promotion marketing agencies Ryan Partnership, Ryan iDirect and others. Goldberg will run the promotional legal department for the company, and manage and develop its paralegal staff. Most recently, Goldberg was a marketing and legal consultant to sports marketing agency Force 10 Communications.

    Organic has named DAVID FELDT senior vice president, managing director of Organic's Toronto office. Feldt comes to Organic from Blast Radius, where he served as general manager and vice president of client services. Prior to that, Feldt was senior vice president, global practice leader of Wunderman New York, and also held an earlier position as vice president, director of e-business solutions for Wunderman Canada.
  • TAULBEE JACKSON
    TAULBEE JACKSON has joined Meyer & Wallis as a senior account executive and will provide account and project management to several Meyer & Wallis clients, including Marsh Supermarkets and Centex Homes. Jackson joins the company from 92.3 WTTS, where he served as marketing director, responsible for leading the station's re-branding campaign.

    ROGER FURMAN has been named director of marketing and new business development at Eagle Television Sales in New York. Furman will be responsible for selling and coordinating the Non-Traditional Revenue sales opportunities available through Eagle TV stations. Most recently, Furman was responsible for selling various sporting event sponsorships for SFX Sports Group, a division of Clear Channel Communications.

    JENNIFER BAUER has joined Bader Rutter & Associates as an account executive in the agency’s account services group. Prior to joining the agency, Bauer was an account executive for Integre’ Advertising by Design.
  • JACK MACLEOD
    Klipmart Corporation has named JACK MACLEOD as vice president of sales, Southwest. He replaces AJ VERNE who has been promoted to vice president of sales, Northwest. Since 1999, Macleod worked for Advertising.com, in positions such as account executive, regional sales manager and, most recently, senior sales director.
  • CHRISTIN PRINCE
    CHRISTIN PRINCE has joined Jumpstart Automotive Media in the newly created position of East Coast director, national advertising sales. Prince will be responsible for overseeing advertising sales and strategic business development for East Coast automotive accounts. Most recently, Prince worked as an interactive media strategist for McKinney-Silver, Audi’s advertising agency.
