  • KATE CARR
    Rainbow Media’s Mag Rack and sportskool have named KATE CARR as vice president of marketing and PHIL SUMMERS as vice president of integrated sales. Carr will be responsible for the creation and implementation of marketing strategies for both Mag Rack and sportskool. Summers will oversee and direct all non-affiliate revenue-generating activities, including advertising sales, sponsorship initiatives, product placements and merchandising.

    Bakers Man has named BILL BUCKLEY as chief marketing officer for its family of companies, including Bakers Man Productions, Bakers Man Technology Group, Bakers Man Entertainment Group, TrueLight Entertainment and Image Quest Studios.

    SFGT has named DAVID FOX to the newly created position of director, promotional strategy, responsible for the development of consumer and sales promotions, new product planning, sponsorship activation, and other below-the-line activities. Previously, Fox was vice president, senior account supervisor at creative services agency Thomas J. Paul, where he managed the Dove Chocolate and M&M's accounts.

    KERRY BENSON has joined Hill, Holliday as senior vice president and account director. Benson will handle the agency’s recently won Liberty Mutual business. Most recently, Benson served as a partner and director of brand strategy for Connelly Partners in Boston. While there, she developed brand strategies for Ocean Spray Craisins, Advance Internet (Division of Conde Naste), Stonyfield Farm and Uncle Sam Cereal.

    Reuters opened its global headquarters in London's Canary Wharf today, and QUEEN ELIZABETH stopped in to tour the new office. The Queen filed a story about the opening by pressing a button on the reception's main screen.
