United Online has hired JEREMY HELFAND as executive vice president and chief sales officer, a newly created position. Helfand most recently was the senior vice president and general manager of Advertising.com.

WhitePages.com has named JOHN JORDAN vice president, business development. Previously, Jordan served as director, business development at MSN where he was responsible for planning and executing strategic partnerships that included MSN services distribution via PC manufacturers including Hewlett Packard and interactive content distribution in MSN Messenger.

BRIAN WALLUNAS has joined Empower MediaMarketing, Cincinnati, as digital marketing analyst, responsible for helping to develop digital marketing strategies for Empower clients, along with assisting in media planning, campaign development and ROI analysis. Wallunas joins Empower from Nielsen BuzzMetrics, where he was an account manager and senior research analyst.
