• Sercy Joins Johannes Leonardo As Chief Talent Officer
    Johannes Leonardo has appointed Debra Sercy as the agency’s new Chief Talent Officer. Sercy will lead the agency’s talent strategy efforts and help implement modern workplace strategies that reflect the culture and creative output of the agency. She joins in September and will report to agency president Bryan Yasko. in New York.   Sercy joins the agency after 7 years at executive search and acquisition company Grace Blue Partnership where she served as Joint-Chief Executive Officer.
  • Cramer-Krasselt Appoints New Media Lead
    Cramer-Krasselt has promoted Stephani Estes to senior vice president, executive director of media to succeed Chris Wexler who departs to become CEO at Square Organics.  Estes will oversee media strategy and activation, programmatic trading, paid search and paid social, media operations and staff across C-K’s three offices in Chicago, New York and Milwaukee. Although no one is directly replacing Estes in her previous role as svp, director of media strategy, the agency recently promoted Jennifer Mathis to svp media director.
  • Tinuiti Adds Creative Lead
    Tinuiti is hiring Tom Olivieri as vice president, creative to manage the digital agency's 40+ person creative department as well as focus on brand storytelling and content development across channels. He previously served as executive director of strategy and content at Worldmedia Interactive and held creative posts at Zimmerman Advertising and The Creative Underground.
  • Fuseideas Staffs Up New Buffalo Office
    Fuseideas is hiring John Cimperman, former executive vice president at Match Marketing Group, to oversee the agency's new Buffalo office. Cimperman will serve as executive vice president of Fuseideas and head all experiential marketing and brand activation efforts for the firm's clients.  This new Buffalo office will handle work for clients including M&T Bank, BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, Delaware North Companies, Steuben Foods, and Fifco (Labatt USA). It will also service the agency's national client roster including the National Hockey League, MLB Network, and Boar’s Head brands.  
  • Bachman, Jackson To Lead New Social Unit At Nail Communications
    Creative consultancy Nail Communications has launched a new unit call Nail.social and has appointed Jess Bachman and Rachyl Jackson to lead it. The division will deliver paid and organic analytics. Bachman had previously served as digital strategy director at the agency and Jackson was previously social analytics manager.

  • Deloitte Digital Taps McCann Veteran Whalen
    McCann NY Chief Operating Officer Rich Whalen is departing to join Deloitte Digital as National Studio General Manager. Whalen will help integrate these 48 studios and their cross-agency teams of creative, data design and innovation. He will report to Scott Mager, head of Deloitte Digital’s US Advertising, Marketing & Commerce. At McCann NY, Whalen led client operations for the 700+ person agency, developing operating structures, compensation models, governance,  and other responsibilities.  
  • Ciceron Adds New Creative Leader
    Ciceron is hiring Anton Friant as vice president/creative director to oversee a team of copywriters, art directors, digital designers, developers, and production artists. He is also tasked with leading the Warner Music, Blu Dot, Securian, Children’s Minnesota and Be The Match accounts. In this newly created role, he will also grow new business for the Minneapolis-based agency. Friant joins Ciceron from Periscope, where he was the digital creative director.

    Brand design agency Vault49 today expands its New York office with the appointment of four new team members including Emily Cristoforis as director of strategy.Cristoforis is a 12-year veteran of the industry who previously served at Redscout, Safari Sundays and most recently Sub Rosa. She’s worked with clients like PepsiCo, Google, Uber, Johnson & Johnson and New York Life.The firm has also hired Melissa Chavez as associate design director, formerly lead designer at Turner Duckworth; Aaron Stephenson, associate design director, formerly JKR and Michelle Farhang senior account manager, formerly Turner Duckworth.
