• Omnicom Names New University Dean
    Omnicom has appointed Karen van Bergen Dean of Omnicom University, the holding company’s management development program. Van Bergen previously served as CEO of Omnicom Public Relations Group (OPRG). John Doolittle, President of The DAS Group of Companies, will assume van Bergen's responsibilities at OPRG as CEO while an external search is conducted to find a permanent successor. Van Bergen succeeds Janet Riccio, who passed away earlier this year after a battle with ALS.
  • Dentsu Aegis' Berryman Joins NBCU
    Abbey Berryman, a 20+ year veteran of the Detroit ad community, is joining NBCUniversal as senior vice president, client partnerships focusing on the automotive and insurance categories. Prior to joining NBCU Berryman spent seven years at Dentsu Aegis Network and for the last two years served as president, global business operations.
  • Walrus Names New Media Head
    Walrus is appointing Ryan Gordon as head of media to lead the agency’s media department, which was established in 2016 to complement its creative advertising offering, and provide integrated services to clients like Lowes Foods, Smith & Wollensky, PayPal, and Colace. Gordon previously served at MDC Partners media agency Assembly, where he was executive vice president of performance media. 
  • Mindshare NA Adds New CFO
    Mindshare is appointing Will Graves as Chief Financial Officer, North America to lead client finance, internal and external financial objectives and reporting. He's also tasked with helping to uncover new opportunities for growth. He replaces Joe Scangamor, who was promoted to serve as GroupM North America’s CFO in September. Graves previously served as executive vice president at Dentsu Aegis Network, where he oversaw the network’s U.S. commercial finance team. Earlier in his career, he worked at Vizeum and Interpublic Group. 
  • McCann Elevates Bulchandani To NA President
    McCann Worldgroup has promoted Devika Bulchandani to President of McCann North America.   • Grey Appoints Armour New York CCO
    Justine Armour is joining Grey New York as Chief Creative Officer, a role that has been vacant since 2017. She will oversee all creative development, spearhead recruitment of creative talent and guide new business creative efforts at the office, working closely with the agency’s global Chief Creative Officer John Patroulis. Armour spent the last three years at MDC Partners’ 72andSunny becoming executive creative director, and overseeing clients such as General Mills, Diageo, Spotify, and others.  
  • WT Mobile Names New President
    Wunderman Thompson is promoting Ted Ismert to president of its mobile division, Wunderman Thompson Mobile, which includes offices in Denver, Atlanta, Seattle, and New York. Based in New York, he will oversee the WPP-owned business as it further evolves its capabilities beyond app development into integrated product experiences. He earlier served as vice president of accounts overseeing the agency's client engagement teams and all key accounts.

    Sandra Sims-Williams is joining Nielsen as senior vice president of diversity & inclusion starting in January. Most recently Sims-Williams has led diversity and inclusion efforts at Publicis Groupe as Chief Diversity Officer. Earlier this year, she made the Black Enterprise Top Corporate Executives list, The Inaugural Champion, Adweek & ADCOLOR, and SAVOY Magazine's Most Influential Women in Corporate America list.  She is also a member of The Advertising Industry's Diversity Steering Committee and serves on the boards of New York Women in Communication, Advertising Club of New York and ColorComm.

    AbelsonTaylor has promoted Amer Ghafari to vice president, director of information technology at the health and wellness advertising agency.
