Dentsu Aegis performance marketing agency Merkle has appointed Phil Yamamoto to President of its Response Management Group. Yamamoto succeeds Bill Sayre who was promoted to CEO in
March. Merkle RMG focuses on the nonprofit, government, and commercial sectors. The unit now has more than 640 employees and over 200 clients. Yamamoto most recently served as executive vice president at Hungry Harvest where he had various responsibilities including strategic operational planning, cross-functional leadership, new market development, vendor management, and supplier engagement. Earlier Yamamoto held senior positions at Nutrisystem, SweetWorks Confections, and Ready Pac Foods.
