The Senate Judiciary Committee has advanced a bill that would compel large platforms to subsidize news outlets and distribute their posts -- even ones that violate the platforms' editorial policies.
"Platforms are in the best position to fix the review ecosystem -- and they have the tools to do it," the FTC says.
