• LISA DONOHUE: Starcom U.S.A.
    The Starcom U.S.A. management team announced the election of LISA DONOHUE as Executive Vice Presidents of the agency. Donohue currently serves as Senior Vice President/Media Director on the company's Discover Card, Morgan Stanley, Nintendo and Philip Morris Corporate accounts. Since first joining the agency (then Leo Burnett's in-house media department) as a media buyer/planner in 1987, Dohohue has worked on more than a dozen Starcom accounts, including General Motors, Kellogg, Miller, NYSE, Samsonite and Sony.
  • KEVIN WORTH: The Deal, LLC
    KEVIN WORTH will add the title of Chief Executive Officer of The Deal, LLC, in addition to his current title of President. The announcement was made this week by the company’s board of directors in a memo to all employees. Previously an executive at American Lawyer Media and The New York Times Company, Worth helped launch The Daily Deal in September 1999 and was instrumental in the spinout of The Daily Deal and its related assets into The Deal, LLC. He was named President of the company in October, 2000.
  • ROBIN WILLIAM ROBERT: Ornelas & Associates
    Veteran Latino marketing specialist ROBIN WILLIAM ROBERT joined Ornelas & Associates on January 15 as Group Account Director heading up the agency's Nissan North America business. Robert, a 20-year veteran of Latino marketing, most recently was Group Account Director at Interpublic/Casanova Pendrill in Irvine, CA, where his responsibilities included management of the Coors Light, DIRECTV Para Todos, Moneygram and Verizon accounts. He was Account Director on Coors Light from June 1999 to June 2001.
  • CELIA WILLIAMS: Endless Noise
    Endless Noise recently announced the appointment of CELIA WILLIAMS to its staff as Executive Producer. Appointed to the position of Head of Broadcast Production in July of last year, Williams joined DDB New York as an executive producer in early 2001 and worked on top agency accounts, including Exxon Mobil, Hershey and Philips. She produced for DDB Chicago for ten years prior to that, handling jobs for Anheuser-Busch, McDonald's and Qwest, among many others.
  • TONY GRANGER: Bozell
    TONY GRANGER, Managing Partner and Executive Creative Director at Bozell, is leaving the New York agency for the top creative post at Publicis Groupe's Saatchi & Saatchi in London. Granger joined Bozell two years ago from TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was Co-Creative Director working on BMW, Bic pens and Playtex's Wonderbra, among others.

    The Starcom U.S.A. management team also announced the addition of KAREN JACOBS as Executive Vice President. She is currently Senior Vice President/Media Director and is charged with managing the company's Print Investment Group in the U.S. She is responsible for the tactical planning, negotiation and execution of newspaper, trade magazine and consumer magazine activity for more than 20 Starcom clients, including Bank of America, Kellogg, Kraft Foods, Pillsbury, Sara Lee, Sun Microsystems and Walt Disney.   • KAYNE LANAHAN: News Corp.
    KAYNE LANAHAN, who has headed News Corp.'s cross-platform selling unit since April 1998, has left the company to pursue other interests. The parting was said by company insiders to be amicable. As Senior VP of News Corp. One, Lanahan's mission was to guide advertisers to cost-efficient buys and promotional efforts across News Corp.'s more than 35 media properties. Prior to joining News Corp., Lanahan spent 10 years at J. Walter Thompson and five years as director of North America media for Coca-Cola.
  • DR. LEN SELLERS: China Xin Network Media Corporation
    China Xin Network Media Corporation, a market research and a business information service company announced the nomination of DR. LEN SELLERS as Director and Chief Operating Officer of CXN Media. Sellers was the Managing Director for Razorfish from 1998 to 2001. Under his direction, Razorfish provided services to a wide range of multinational clients that included Microsoft, Joe Boxer, Vodafone, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
  • CAROL HANLEY: Arbitron Inc.
    Arbitron Inc. has promoted CAROL HANLEY to Senior Vice President, Advertiser and Agency Services. In this new role, Hanley is responsible for all sales and marketing efforts for both advertising agencies and advertisers. Most recently, Hanley held the position of Vice President of Sales with Arbitron’s Advertiser and Agency Services. Prior to Arbitron, Hanley was a partner of Morrison and Abraham, a radio station consultancy. She was also an advertising sales representative for WKKD AM/FM, a suburban Chicago station.
  • DONNA FRIEDMAN: Kids WB programming
    DONNA FRIEDMAN, the head of Kids WB programming, will leave her post to join National Geographic Television & Film as President of Kids' Programming and Production. Friedman joined Kids WB in 1999 as Executive VP in charge of programming and during her four-year tenure guided the network's Saturday morning kids block to 10 consecutive sweeps victories. Among the series she acquired were Jackie Chan Adventures, X-men: Evolution, and What's New Scooby Doo? Prior to joining Kids WB, she spent nine years at Nickelodeon.
