    DAVID FLORENCE has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of Draft, the global marketing services firm where he has served as president of Draft International since 2002. Florence will assume operational responsibilities for the entire network with the exception of Draft's offices in Chicago and New York. Florence will also assume senior management duties for several Draft subsidiaries including The Sloan Group. Florence previously served as president of the New York office from 1994 to 2002, overseeing strategic development for a number of the agency's clients, including Verizon and Compaq.
