MARK REINO, vice president of technology markets at Starmark International, has been appointed to the board of directors for the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association. Reino directs strategic communications initiatives and account services for Starmark’s roster of technology clients.

Ripple Effects Interactive announced that DAVID TRAINOR NAMIR has joined its Philadelphia office as an account supervisor. Namir, who was most recently director of marketing and communications at the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, lead the organization through a rebranding campaign that covered all areas of marketing communications.

Staffing professionals Allegheny Associates has hired DIANA WOOD as director of advertising and marketing. Formerly of Forum Personnel, Wood will head up the division specializing in all disciplines of advertising and marketing.

TRACEY MARSHAK has been hired as an account executive for PIC-TV's New York office. Marshak will be responsible for promoting the use of PIC-TV services through agencies and advertisers in the eastern region. Prior to joining PIC-TV, Marshak worked as a buyer for five years at Outdoor Services, a planning and buying company specializing in outdoor advertising. Before that time she served as a media planner for McCann-Erickson.

RICK SAMETZ has joined Interep as vice president, director of marketing, based in Chicago. He was previously director of promotions for Marvel Entertainment. In his new position, he will work with advertisers on developing radio-based solutions that address their marketing needs.

The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) has announced three executive promotions within its services division: CHRISTA MALLICK DAHLANDER rises to senior vice president, member communications from vice president; MARK LEVY elevates to vice president and general sales manager of educational services from director; and JOHN POTTER advances to vice president educational services and director of the RAB Radio Training Academy from director. NewsStand, Inc. announced that BRADLEY DINKMEYER has joined the company as director of newspaper sales for North America. Since 1986, Dinkmeyer has served in a variety of strategic sales and marketing positions with Dow Jones & Co. Inc. and The Union-Tribune Publishing Company, of San Diego, Calif.

Fastclick.com, Inc. named KURT A. JOHNSON as chief executive officer. He succeeds DAVE GROSS, Fastclick’s co-founder, who will take on the role of president and chief operating officer. Also at the company, JAMES AVIANI was named chief technology officer. Aviani will be responsible for the supervision of the company's future technology direction, the execution of product development initiatives, and the ongoing expansion of Fastclick’s products and services.

ERICA WREN has been promoted to communications manager at Universal McCann, where most recently she served as marketing associate. Before joining Universal McCann in Oct. 2002, Wren worked at Rachel Litner Associates, a boutique public relations firm, as account manager for clients such as Cuisinart, The Housewares Charity Foundation and Orix Financial Services.
