TRACEY MARSHAK has been hired as an account executive for PIC-TV's New York office. Marshak will be responsible for promoting the use of PIC-TV services through agencies and advertisers in the eastern region. Prior to joining PIC-TV, Marshak worked as a buyer for five years at Outdoor Services, a planning and buying company specializing in outdoor advertising. Before that time she served as a media planner for McCann-Erickson.
RICK SAMETZ has joined Interep as vice president, director of marketing, based in Chicago. He was previously director of promotions for Marvel Entertainment. In his new position, he will work with advertisers on developing radio-based solutions that address their marketing needs.
The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) has announced three executive promotions within its services division: CHRISTA MALLICK DAHLANDER rises to senior vice president, member communications from vice president; MARK LEVY elevates to vice president and general sales manager of educational services from director; and JOHN POTTER advances to vice president educational services and director of the RAB Radio Training Academy from director. Fastclick.com, Inc. named KURT A. JOHNSON as chief executive officer. He succeeds DAVE GROSS, Fastclick’s co-founder, who will take on the role of president and chief operating officer.
